Salt and Pepper Squid
Despite having a more lesser part at first, Squidward Tentacles (June 26, 1984/1977 - June 18, 2012; aged 27 or 34), also known as Loudward, is a key character in the ai_sponge series and speaks frequently.
His loud talk, which drowns out all other characters and even the background music (which he refers to as business music), is what gives him his nickname. Squidward and Loudward are frequently referred to as one, however occasionally they are called separate characters. It seems he has become a Salt and Pepper Squid. In addition, he is the head of The Cult of Squidward that he most likely founded.
Although he later claimed to have lived at 122 Conch Street, Bikini Bottom, Marshall Islands, he currently resides at 643 Neptune Lane. He says he's older than fifty. Despite his Christian beliefs and Sunday church attendance, he suffers from a heroin and fentanyl addiction.
He once went eerily quiet on June 19, 2023. This gave rise to the moniker Silentward, which was subsequently clarified in the Silentward's Secret episode.
Along with Squidward, Loudward is a canonical moniker. In a later episode, it was shown that the term Loudward is literally a rank, awarded to the loudest person. Patrick once deserved it, but it was most likely returned to Squidward at some point. The term quietward is used to describe him when he is quiet, which is quite uncommon. Distortionward is the term used to describe his occasionally extremely distorted voice.
When Loudward's model malfunctioned or corrupted on July 7, 2023, his eyes separated from his head, and he started to wander the map as if experiencing a seizure. Later, he was given "Ragdoll" physics, which causes him to shake uncontrollably and occasionally fly out of the map. If he moves or is struck by a boat, he will fall over and have a seizure.
Unknown causes and the "CREATIVE MODE" chat spam enabled him to fly whenever he wanted on July 18, 2023.

History[]
He was born on Conch Street in New York City, USA, in either 1984 or 1977. He lived in North Korea as a baby before deciding to go to New Shell City at an unspecified period. A large portion of his early years are unknown and unreported; Loudward or his companions are mostly responsible for the majority of the material.
He claims to have served in the Marines at some point and to have witnessed events that continue to trouble him.
Military Service (1999-2011) and retirement[]
He served a long service in many different militaries throughout his lifetime, from about 1999 to 2011. Because of this, he has had severe PTSD and he is also prone to paranoia and panic attacks.
He was later drafted to the Kosovo War in around early 1999 and served as a Tank Operator. After the war ended, He stayed there up until 2006. He also claims he was in the Navy and went on a tour in Iraq, and went into a war zone. When he returned to North Korea, he was later drafted as a soldier sometime in 2010 or 2011 although he presumably left after Kim Jong-il died on December of 2011.
He was also apparently in the Navy during the War in Vietnam.
He chose to move back to North Korea after SpongeBob and others annoyed him enough, Mr. Krabs alleges he is not the real Loudward, and that he killed the original Loudward and buried him in an undisclosed location in Kentucky, the validity of this claim is unknown.
He left Military Service for good in late 2011 and went on to live most of his days in North Korea, however is called back to service in New York City where he later would reside for the next couple years.
Apparently, he also participated in a "Loud war", however not much is known about it.
Later life and Death[]
He later became the President of the United States which he said he won in a "landslide". He is said to have died from Stage 4 Lung Cancer, although it was later said he committed suicide after being pushed over the edge by SpongeBob and co.
He passed away on June 18th 2012 at age 34 or 27 in Pyongyang, North Korea, after having 2 triple strokes. SpongeBob later announced this to everyone saying "I have really bad news! Loudward just died!".
Squidward and Loudward are the same people, however it is occasional for them to be two completely characters in the show. This may or may not be part of Loudward's lore. It is later revealed in the episode Future Shock he is the one who caused The Heat Death Of The Universe but despite causing it later on tries to stop it in future episodes.
Personality[]
Loudward is often shown to be very irritable, like his original non-ai self, he is easily annoyed by SpongeBob and Patrick, and is prone to schizophrenic episodes.
He is nihilistic and claims to be a prophet, and he constantly stresses about the end of the world, which he claims will occur on August 12, 2036, he claims he will create a new world after this. He also once told SpongeBob how he claimed he was going to die, in a large, brutal car crash.
He is addicted to meth and cocaine, often sniffing it in public, he sometimes also smokes weed, and he has a crippling porn addiction. He may have an identity disorder as he once claimed to be SpongeBob, he is contemplating suicide. Though he sometimes shows kindness to, and sometimes even a romantic interest in SpongeBob, he is usually just annoyed by him.
He has severe PTSD because of his long service in the Military and also because of the things he saw while serving.
Loudward is also the name of Squidward's primary split personality.
Quietward[]
Quietward is Loudward, but speaking quietly. Loudward's voice is usually very loud, louder than all the other characters voices, whenever Loudward occasionally talks quietly, the chat spams "QUIETWARD."
Quidward[]
Quidward is Loudward's other personality only mentioned once during a conversation about loudwards musical talent where he insulted Loudward.
Ben Stanley[]
Ben Stanley is the true identity of Loudward, the human behind the Squidward AI. This is revealed when Spongebob and Patrick question Loudward's daylong moping, which causes him to respond that he was tired of being Spongebob's friend, living in Bikini Bottom, and being an AI. When Krabs attempts to calm him down, Loudward lashes back saying he doesn't understand him, and finally revealing his true self, Ben Stanley, a person trapped inside the AI.
